Arrow Questions about DynoTuning and minor mods

I have a 2012 stock v6 mustang. I am looking to get new 18x9 + 18x10 wheels and tires with a Borla Atak Axle Back exhaust with a BBK Cold Air Intake. Lowering springs with pan bar, and possibly sway bar. would I need to get my car recalibrated since the wheels will be bigger? and would a dyno tune be worth it? If I need to, where are some good places? I live in dallas and am new to the world of mods.

if your running 18" wheels now then the only thing you will need a tune for is the CAI.

Whether or not you need the speedo recalibrated depends entirely on if the outside diameter of the new tires is any different then the current tires.

Im looking to run either 18" or 19" wheels. Currently have 17. But leaning towards 19". Any change?

You think jumping from 17" to 19" wheels and tires will make that change a necessity?

Like I said, it depends entirely on the outside diameter of the new tires. If it's identical to the old tires (regardless of wheel size), then no, a change is not necessary. If it is more then a half inch smaller or larger then it would be a good idea.

+1

And for your mods, a dyno tune is not worth the extra cash.

My summer tires are 255/40/R19

my winter tires are 225/60/R17

I'm pretty sure as long as you stay within spec, you should be good to go.

A dyno tune isn't really worth it unless you do something drastic like gears or go to really different size tires. I am running a Bama tune which is good and allows me to get a new tune for the car when I make a new mod. When I am done with the modifications... or maybe more like IF I am ever done with modifications then I would invest in a dyno tune.

Probably not worth a custom tune. But, if you are planning any major mods, a baseline dyno run may not be a bad idea.
