Pedestal Spoiler, Diffuser and Axleback awaits
My wife's new 2011 grabber blue MCA was built this week and should arrive about the 20th give or take. Meanwhile, the first mods (pictured below) await its arrival.
Also below is a link to the window sticker, so you can see her equipment.
Pictured is the painted portion of the Pedestal Spoiler (part# AR3Z-634421-CA), Fascia, Lower Rear Diffuser Style, Black (part# AR3Z-17F828-AA) and Magnaflow Street Axleback (part# 15595). And if anyone's curious, the spoiler cost me $289 and $135 to paint, the diffuser cost $129, both purchased locally, and the axleback cost me $450 shipped.

This is what the BEFORE will look like.

The AFTER will look similar to this GT/CS, only in grabber blue.

Almost the same car I was ordering until the dealers finance department started to be a Jackass about it.
But on a side note, my pedestal spoiler is in the basement with the grill surround waiting to be painted and put on the 2010

you will LOVE the spoiler. It's a touch tall and you do notice that in terms of rear vis, but the look is AWESOME
Where I purchased the spoiler is in my original post above. It took me 4hours to install and I've installed similar spoliers before. The install was not real difficult if you take your time and measure several times before drilling.
I like how that looks. Thanks for posting pics. It will be a while before my car arrives but I am planning to do some mods. How do you like the exhaust? I see Magnaflow has 4 different kits. How do you like the axle backs? I am not sure if the competition series would be too loud so I am curious if you think the set you have is just right.
How do you like the spoiler? Does it cut into your visibility?
Thanks

We absolutely love the pedestal spoiler. We really like how it improves the look of the rear from all angles. And the fact that it has the black underside that coordinates well with the black rear valance and the vinyl blackout between the tail lights on our MCA edition. Yes, it sits high, but not so much that you can't see well enough out your back window.
Awesome thanks for the info. I will go with the street series axle backs. I love Magnaflow. I put Flowmasters on my 2000 GT and hated them. Put Magnaflows on my Mach and talk about great - sound was perfect.
Did you install the mufflers yourself? They look like they can be a do it yourself job.
As for the spoiler I like the pedestal style but I also like the base one too. My car has neither as the Performance Pack here in Canada has no spoiler. I have not decided what to get yet. But looks like I have a couple months before I have to think about it.
Thanks again!

Wes, i'm 58 years old and disabled
. I installed my Magnaflow Street Series myself. I backed my Mustang onto ramps to give me extra room, very easy to do. The Magnaflow's sound perfect

Glad to know the axle backs can be installed at home. I did the X pipe and the exhaust on my 00 GT and cursed it. When I changed the exhuast on the Mach 1 I just paid a mechanic I knew. The over the axel style are a real pain if you don't have the right tools (which I did not). I was hoping to be able to do them myself since I live in a new town and don't have a mechanic buddy to give me a discount on install.
I am interested in your spoiler. Wonder what shipping would cost?
Thanks David and Steve
