New aftermarket products 2011-2014 v6
Has anybody heard anything about new parts coming to our stangs? Like any news on new axlebacks, mid pipes, headers, intakes, etc. I for one would be interested in knowing if there was new and upcoming parts because there might be something I would be more interested in then what's out. Any news whatsoever, what's being developed out there? I would be interested in a cut and clamp h pipe for my stang. The only mid pipe available for my car that resuses the stock cats would be the ford racing x pipe. Emissions seem to be a big deal in a few states so why aren't there more of these kind of mid pipes? Anyways, that's just an example, if you have any info on new products, please share!

With the 2015's on the horizon I doubt there will be many new products coming out for the current model.
I agree there aren't enough options for mid-pipes, but it is what it is I guess.

whats your reason for wanting a h pipe over a x pipe? x makes more power. i understand the not enough mid pipes that reuse the stock cats but where in my state they dont do emissions testing and i dont even have cats anymore. if anymore parts come out then it will probably be before the 2015 models are released unless its stuff that will work on both the 2011 style and 2015 style like maybe intake manifolds, cams, heads stuff like that.
Well based on my research, an h pipe gives the exhaust a deeper old school sound. And an x pipe makes the car sound "raspy" and loud. Not really overly crazy about loud obnoxious cars, well at least not my v6. If it was a F150 or a 5.0, then yes I would want to throw out some noise. Between an x pipe and a h pipe, what's the real hp differences? 1-3 horsepower, if that? To me that's a good sacrifice for the sound I am looking for.
Just go to an exhaust shop and have them Fab you an H-pipe. Thats what I did! I suggest having it made so the pipe doesn't run straight across also it helps stabilize the pressure in the pipes better and creates a nice deep tone.
theres a guy on here that put a regular H pipe on his and he hates it. he says it sounds good at idle but when you get on it it sounds like a 4 runner. i dont remember who it was though. the one ajcruz1 has might sounds different at wot though. mine has the bbk long tube headers and off road x pipe with bassani axle backs and its pretty loud. i took it to the drag strip the other night and people didnt believe it when i told them it was a v6. they said it sounds like a 5.0 i have 3.7 badges on the side of it but they made me pop the hood to prove that it was just a v6.

nothing wrong with my lethal h-pipe..haven't received one negative comment yet. I do believe it makes a huge difference with what it paired up with tho..currently running mine with bbk shorties and frpp sports.
headers completely change the sound of our cars. i wish i had a before and after sound clip of my car. youd think i put a different engine in it.
