Muffler deletes or aftermarket axlebacks

So I've been wanting to change out my exhaust just like every other person on this site. I've been looking at Roush, they ar. the cheapest and sound the most aggressive but then Borla and Magnaflow are also in the convo.

My local muffler shop will delete the mufflers for $80, add new tips for another $60, and evenadd glasspacks for another $40.

So the question is would you spend the $469 for Roush or get a customsetup ranging from $80-200?

I'm not a huge fan of the 3.7 sound with an very open exhaust as I think it sounds raspy and hollow. Glasspacks don't last very long, so I don't recommend them. I'd recommend mufflers, and the borlas and FRPPs are the ones I personally liked most.

I loves the Pypes axel backs. But I also have the BBK shorty headers. This combo gives me the sound I was looking for. not raspy or drone while crusing, but nice and deep when I push it. I got my mufflers used (barely) for $200 maybe that's another route you may want to go. Hope this helps

i have the bassani axle backs and loved the sound of them before i put the long tubes on. im thinking about selling them though because they are WAY to loud with the long tubes and off road x pipe. the tone is great with them but just to loud for every day driving.

I'll sell you some Magnaflow competitions (muffler delete) axle backs for 1/2 price. Used around one month and a lot louder than straight pipes.

when i was putting my axle backs on my car with the stock manifolds and x pipe i cranked it up with no mufflers and rev'd it up a little and it was a good bit quieter than it was with the bassani mufflers. i was shocked at how quiet it was with no mufflers. but with a good axle back it will be louder and have a MUCH better tone than with a muffler delete. these cars sound like pure crap with no mufflers.
