You mean there's no hitch in my git-along? I'm old - that's been a problem for a few years.

Besides all that, I ended up with a completely unique car (for the geographic area, anyway). NOBODY in San Antonio has a car that looks like mine, which is both good and bad - the good part is the uniqueness - the bad part is that at cruise-in meets, the V6 guys won't talk to me because they think it's a V8, and the V8 guys find out it's a V6 and won't talk to me because it's not a V8, and the Shelby guys won't talk to me because it looks too much like a Shelby without actually being one. I'm in a kind of Mustang no-man's land.
This is what it's all about; doing what you want to make your car unique, and what you like. After all, you're making the payments. As to those folks that shrug you at the local shows, they are missing out on someone that could offer some good knowledge, as you have obviously done some serious wrenching on the car. Anyone with money can plunk down the cash and buy an already made shelby; if I had that cash, I certainly would! But I don't have that cash, so doing a bit of personalization on my Mustang is what it is for me. I too took some ribbing for installing 'C" stripes and the black hood decal to give my race red V6 the Boss look. I don't have any Boss badging though. I just liked the look of the stripes against the red body color.

I'm serving in OEF though, so I won't get it until February when I come back from deployment. I'm trying to make a tasteful list of mods I'd like to do to my new car once I get back to the states.

- Here's what I'm thinking so far:
- Tinted windows 35%
- Painted mirror covers
- Boss 302 grille kit (or blackout grille, haven't decided yet)
- I like the stock wheels, so I'm going to get them powder coated but leave the lip of the wheel as is.
- K&N Filter

Any other suggestions? Thanks!
I would recommend a set of Steeda springs, our CAI, SCT tuner, etc. I would start with that and then see where else you'd like to improve it.

Let me know if I can help you with that.
