Make exhaust louder without changing how it sounds

I'm curious to know what my options are for increasing the volume of my exhaust note, without really changing how it sounds.

I currently have a stock exhaust setup, with Corsa Sport axlebacks. I love how the Corsas sound, but wouldn't mind them being a bit louder. Don't want to get ridiculous, but a nice bump in volume would be good.

Anything I can do to get this?

Cut out the resonators and get normal piping welded in. Or high flow cats.
I really wanna get the corsas but I wanna hear em in person before pulling the trigger

The resonators being gone won't change the sound?

I recorded my Corsas with a quality microphone a while back: https://soundcloud.com/joeywhat11/se...xle-back-audio

Wish I could figure out how to strap a mic onto my car somewhere that would pick up the exhaust note well without getting a ton of wind noise as well.

Well there's not much in the way of getting louder without really changing the sound. Unless you get larger tips

My best guess is that your issue is that you still have two mufflers. if you did a mid muffler setup like how I have. You'd have A LOT more volume push through if you feeling aggressive that day.

I did a full exhaust but kept the stock mufflers for a while. I think it did what you are asking about but it didn't get as loud as I wanted it.

Hmm, wonder how rough mufflers would sound welded into the over axle pipe a few inches after the clamp to the midpipe
