Magnaflow exhaust

First of all, I have a 2014 V6 and would like to install the Magnaflow Street Series Cat-back mufflers part #15244 MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles. Is there any reason why the 2012 Axle-back part #15595 won't fit? MagnaFlow Exhaust Products - For Trucks, Suv's, American Muscle, Diesel, & Sport Compact Vehicles.

I thought I read somewhere that it wouldn't fit because of exhaust tip fitment issues. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks, David

Why not just buy the one for 13-14? I think the way it bolts up and the fact the bumper is different is why they sell two different versions. I have this cat back on my '14 but it's the one made for 13-14. It sounds great but to be honest if I could go back I would get the Borla S-type cat-back. Still might

$160 difference is the main reason I would want to get the Axleback instead of the catback.

i believe the only difference is how far the tips stick out. i think if you put the 2012 axle back on yours the tips will stick out a extra half inch or so.

American Muscle website shows that the axle-back will fit the 2010-2014 year model. I'll have to contact them to make sure.

It will fit. But with rocket ship tips. It looks trashy. But the 13-14 model.

Do you mean, buy the 13-14 cat-back instead of the axle-back?

Either set up will fit. Like these guys said, if you by the 2010-2012 Axle back for your 13-14 the tips will stick out a littler bit further than the 13-14 set up. But they'll both fit on the car. If you're okay with that, than I don't see a problem!

Hope this helps.

i read on another thread that if you put the gt/cs boss rear diffuser on it then the tips wont stick out as far. the boss diffusser its self sticks out so it makes it less noticeable.

I went ahead and bought the #15595's off of Amazon for $500+$35 for 2nd day delivery and they fit great. The tips don't stick out like I thought they would.

I think it is only 1/2" over how the fit on the 11-12, I have the 11-12 Borlas on mine and they look good.
BTW Saw the pics, looking good

I just put everything on Photobucket, so much easier and don't have to worry about size there.
