LT Headers and TB?
So it seems I've caught the mod bug again. Thinking about getting the BBK 73mm Throttle Body, Long Tube Headers and Catted X-Pipe. The problem is I'm not sure I should spend that kind of money if I'm just going to upgrade to a GT in a few years.
Is it worth it? What kind of HP increase can I expect?

If you get the headers, and have aftermarket mufflers, you should seriously consider buying some resonators. Summit sells some that will fit your 2.25-inch pipe. They're made by Vibrante.
And you should get a new tune to accommodate the headers.

I'm not entirely sure why, but when I just had the BBK LT's and X-Pipe, I had serious problems with inconsistent idling and low RPM's launching. The RPM's jumped all around. The instant I installed the TB, it completely corrected it and low and high RPM's just seemed so much more meaty to me. I didn't realize the impact it really had until I removed the TB and went back to stock to trouble shoot a lag issue with my supercharger I recently installed. The "lope" at low RPM's came back and again the power at RPM's below 3000 just seems really hollow.
