With both being the same price. Which is a better CAI for the v6?

 

Lets see, I think they are BOTH better...

It all comes down to personal preference, both make almost the same power.

Personally, I like the Airaid, looks most like an oem part.

 

I agree. Really can't go wrong with either.

 

Thanks for the responses. Trying to decide whether to go with the SythaFLOW or SynthaMAX right now for the AIRAID.

 

I have the Airaid and I love it! At first I though the tube looked like an elephant trunk but who cares, it is AWESOME! The fit is very OEM =D

 

I have the Airaid and I'd say its a very well built, OEM quality part. I have not seen a JLT in person so I cant speak for it. If anything, I'd say the airbox for the Airaid is a better design, it seals better isolating the filter from the engine compartment moreso than the JLT. there is a potential for more/better power with the likely cooler air.

When American Muscle independently tested them both the JLT actually got a couple more hp than the Airraid. So they are pretty equal.
