How much HP with these mods?

How much horsepower would I get with a Airaid CAI, Bama tune(race), and a Bassani axle-back exhaust on a 2014 V6 automatic. Also, what do you think that would translate into 0-60 times?

With a tune, c.a.i. and axle-backs on my v6, my 0 to 60 times went from 6.1-6.2 to 5.7-5.8 seconds. With the mods i have 'now' in my signature, i can do the high 4's

My times are recorded using a 'G-Tech'.

David,

Did you install the 3.73? My son just bought a 2014 GHIG V6 Premium with all sorts of mods but he still has the 2.73 I believe.

I went from 3.31's to 3.73 gears. It was a big difference in acceleration. More than i would have thought.

After hearing and reading about $200 gear swaps going bad, i had my local Ford dealer install mine. I paid $550 just for the labor, but my gears are perfect

Should be a little white sticker on the pumpkin that has the gear ratio on it.

Rodney,

I suggest you forget all mods and do 373 gears and a custom tune to go with it. Your 0-60 will drop almost 1.5 seconds.

So currently if your 0-60 is 6 seconds, it will drop to 4.5 seconds.

I'll help you with a list of priority mods:

1) 373 gears
2) Custom Tune
3) Long Tube or Shorty Headers
4) Xpipe
5) CAI
6) Axleback Or Catback exhaust
7) 1 piece driveshaft
8) Throttle Body (Pretty expensive but doesn't give alot of HP, so should be your last bolt on mod)
9)ACCEL Supercoils

Our cars should have come with either 355 or 373 gears from factory. But ford likes those high MPG numbers. And like to increase profit by introducing "performance package with 355 gears lol"...

Oh well, but, in all honestly, once i got the 373 about 3 weeks ago, i couldn't believe the difference. I wish i would have gotten those when i bought my car 2 years ago.

With an axleback, you're probably looking at +2-3 hp since it's way lighter than stock and has better flow-out.

With a Tune+CAI you're looking at about +25 hp.

I think with the tune+cai+axleback, you might shave off 0.5 seconds?

0-60 will be lowered mostly with higher gear ratio, 1 piece driveshaft and headers. With these you can shave off 1.0-1.5 seconds easily.

I have to agree with you, next mod is 3.73's and aluminum driveshaft, then headers down the road.

Yeah, get the 373 gears and the tune+cai combo that AM offers. You'll be very happy.
