Headers

I have installed an FRPP cut and clamp X-pipe and borla touring axle-backs on my 2013 v6 and I was wondering which headers I could get that would fit with that x-pipe, anyone have suggestions? Shorty or long tube? And not trying to be extremely loud, still want the cats.

shorties would fit and let you keep the stock cats but if youre wanting performance then i would get the long tube headers and the matching x pipe for the headers.

Based on what you wrote, your wants. Go with short tube headers.

I have the same set up as you with the BBK Short Tube headers, the Power gain in the low to mid range is great and the sound is awesome.

What's your opinion on the FRPP cut and clamp x-pipe? Do you like the sound it makes? Does it make it deeper or louder? I just got my bbk shortys in the mail yesterday and now I'm going to order the cut and clamp. Gotta wait to install everything though, my cars still in storage!

A lot more air flow, doesn't sound much different, hopefully the headers will make it deeper.
