Anyone know a good place to buy a gt strut tower brace to be used on a v6?

 

That list is super long, almost everyone sells them. And they aren't necessarily GT strut tower braces except for the 2011-2012 GT brace and it won't fit a V6, it's too low.

Something in particular you are looking for?

 

There was a place on ebay selling take-off GT500 strut tower braces for about $20-$25 shipped.

 

I was basically just looking for a simple one. A few of my friends have 2010 GT's and they're brace is a solid silver metal brace but it's simple

 

That sounds like the OEM brace, I think Blue Oval Industries has them for about $150.

If you want really simple and basic then those GT500 take-off bars are the best deal out there, can't beat $20-$25 shipped. Then you can leave it black or paint it any color you want.

 

What year is your V6, because the 2010 GT Strut Bar on my 2010 V6 had to be shimmed to clear the intake manifold but had plenty of clearance on my friends 2011.

These are being sold at close to Dealer cost and are a Great Bar. And as per the 2010 FRPP catalog they will fit a 2010. Same as BULLITT. I could not touch this price.

How about the 2011 performance package brace? or do all V6 cars have one?

 

Only the PP cars and convertibles got them stock. I just got one for my car and like that it still retains a stock look, but also liked another lattice brace and almost got that instead.
