Man I want the flows too. I have an auto and wonder if it that matters in sound.
I love how the muffler is painted black and conceals themselves in the underbody. I was never a fan on the stock mufflers sticking out partially. Pics welcome!

And I don't think Auto would make a difference.

Flowmasters
I have them on my car and they sound great. Not too loud or raspy but you can hear that something is different. At idle it sound better than a 5.0 with the stock pipes. Next year I'm getting the BBK long tube and catted x-pipe. Should make it sound mean.

Well which axleback do you guys reccomend because i do want loud but not ear bleeding loud. According to the warranty i can only get the axleback without voiding it so headers are out of the question.
The main thing i want is a good strong idle and POPS, im ok with some drone. But i dont want anything quiet and boring near stock

Going with the roush axleback, listened to them in and out and they're for me, all videos on the flowmaster are very quiet and have little to no popping when RPMs decrease

The roush is loud, but that's about it. In person, on a v6, they sound slightly like those big cannon mufflers on honda's. Only at WOT though. Kinda sounds like a trombone playing a triple forte whole tone into an empty oil barrel.
I agree with you on the flows. I have the borla s on my v8 now.

From what you've said, I really think the borla s is a good fit for you. I had it on my 2012 v6 and it was pretty loud, with subdued popping on de accell. It had zero drone and it had very warm characteristics.
