Deep/Aggressive/Loud '12 V6 Exhaust?

Just got my 2012 V6 Mustang a week ago and I started looking into exhausts. I started with the Borla ATAK axle back but then read some reviews that it wasn't very deep. Currently I am looking at the Roush Axle Back and it sounds pretty good from the sound clips I have seen and it is significantly cheaper than the Borla also. Can anyone tell me if the Roush exhaust will be any good for a deep, aggressive, and loud sound? Or what else would be any good?

Everyone has a different idea about exhaust sound, you just have to find the one you like.

Just remember, no V6 exhaust will ever give you a V8 sound.

I like the Roush but it is very loud.

Yeah I understand that. I think I might just go with the Roush.

Roush is the only exhaust for the 2011 Mustang V6 that is good. Well, besides the Stainless Works 800 dollar system.

MRT sells a 3.7L V6 exhaust system.

Just checked out the MRT exhaust and it seems very similar to the Roush. I will definitely consider it in my exhaust search!

The 4" roush tips look a lot better than the 3.5" tips on the MRT and the roush costs quite a bit less.

I like the Borla S-Types...a little more mellow compared to the Roush.

I also have a 2012 V6 with PP. Does anyone know which exhaust comes the closest to the nice deep sound of a v8, without that interior drone or raspy note that some have? Also, what does it cost to add a supercharger and what increase in horsepower can be expected?

From all the threads I have read and the responses to this thread, it looks like the Roush axle back might be the closest V8 sounding exhaust. For the superchargers- from what I have seen for 2011-2012 V6 Mustangs, your looking in the $5000-$7000 range with a pretty big horsepower gain. Why are the Ford V6 axle backs so much more expensive than the GT's?

Production costs are higher when fewer units are produced.

Lower demand only drives prices down when there is an excess of product on the market.

Borla ATAK is definitely a good way to go. If you want the best sound combined with a headache free cruise (the ROUSH exhaust has deadly droning...), then it's worth the extra few bucks for the ATAK system.

I ran Borla ATAK Axel-backs for roughly a year, and they were absolutely amazing. Within the last week, I had BBK LT Headers and the Hi Flow Catted x pipe installed. It's crazy now. But for someone who wants a sick exhaust for their car, the ATAK more than does the job.
