CAI or axle backs ?

I own a 2011 MCA edition w/ the V6 and 3.31 gears. I plan on installing both a CAI (Airaid) and a set of axle backs (Roush), but not at the same time ($$$'s). Does it matter which one I do first, or should I wait until I've purchased both and install them at the same time ?

Agreed, the CAI will give you a little more hp and sound, while the ABs will give you a lot of sound and no hp. All depends on your interests.

Ummmmmmmmmmm a tune will give you more hp and torque. A cai won't do anything by itself

I think you'll enjoy doing the mufflers first the most.

That's what I thought, just wasn't 100% sure. But I knew I could get the answer here. Thanks.

Numerous independent tests suggest otherwise.

OP was asking about the 3.7l not the 4.0l.

I say intake an tune first and something other than an airaid intake.

Airraid and JLT got the best results from American Muscle independent testing. C&L fared the worst.

What's wrong with going with the Airaid CAI ? Not being defensive, just asking what's the best CAI for the 3.7L V6 running 3.31 gears ?

Nothing at all. Airraid is a great stand alone option.
