borla s-type 11796
Just pulled the trigger on some stingers!
Was debating between the borla touring and the s-types. Found the stingers at autoanything.com for $577 and called American Muscle and they matched the price and shipped out about an hour after I ordered them. Went with the free shipping so I should see them by 12/31/13
Man, I can't friggin wait to bolt them on. They should sound great with my Airaid CAI, whoo-hoo!

All I know is I responded to the Craigslist ad 45 minutes after it was posted and 24 hours later I had them on the car.
I bet, they should sound great! $577 is a great deal, too!

Yep, that price will be good till 12/31/13 at AutoAnything.com with free shipping, but they charge tax. That's why I had AM do the price match and they have killer customer service. Now I just gotta wait for them, dang!
My Borlas should be arriving today and they are getting slapped on tomorrow! I can't freakin wait!
Jay and the rest of the Hypermotive team have been very friendly and offered great support. Jay even took the time to answer my late evening PMs and provide the information I needed quickly. Just wanna say thanks!

Thanks again sir, I'll be in MI during the holidays, we'll see if I can personally hand over one of our shirts to you
We have a trip to Air ride while we're there which will allow us to shoot over your place
Hope you enjoy, thanks again for giving us a try and entrusting us your hard earned money on mod parts

And yeah, let me know, I'm off all week!
Installed my Borla Stingers yesterday!
Took an hour for the drivers side (learning process) and 30 minutes for the passenger side. Started the car and knew right away I made the right decision. What a great sound, nice rumble at idle and just perfect when I get on it. As stated earlier in this thread, worth every penny. Just love the sound combined with my Airaid CAI. Love it when a plan comes together
Dang StangDawg, just realized you are near my old race track, right at the end of Jeffrey Road past the nursery is a private road that runs up to Santiago Canyon, the old Blue Diamond haul road, beat up on many a fast car up there with my 73 Cougar.
And you cannot go wrong with Borla IMO, love the sound of mine.

Awesome, Siber Express, I'll check it out this weekend. I live by Ridge Route & Muirlands in Lake Forest. That run is only a few minutes away. Thanks for the tip. Need to find a place to really let the Borlas loose.

They do sound great, don't they? Wait until they get broken in, they rumble just a bit more! I love them! They really get people's attention.
Its actually one of the best tuned exhausts ive seen in my life....sound is so smooth and deep..
there is no drone...its not extremely loud, its not extremely raspy...its just perfect!

Yes iceD I agree! I was expecting a bit of drone just because it is aftermarket exhaust, but there literally is none at all.
The sound is great, the quality is great. I'm more than pleased.

How many miles for the break in? 400 or more?
Gate was locked on the right just passed the nursery and if I went straight, lots of Irvine Company red prosecution signs. Would have liked to gone up that road. Still love the Santiago Canyon road early in the morning. One of my favorites after Cars and Coffee on Saturday mornings. Thanks for the tip anyway.
