Question Axelback exhaust - primarily for looks

Hey guys, so while I'm waiting for my '13 mustang V6 to be built I'm trying to decide on what exhaust to go with. I'm really looking to replace the stock mufflers for looks, with one that has a larger polished tips. As far as loudness, I want it to be as close to stock. From my searches, I'm bouncing between the Magnaflow Street series and Borla Touring. I like the tone of the Magnaflows over the Borla, but am concerned about drone.

Any thoughts or is there another brand that fits my requirements?

I could be wrong, but I think the pipes on the GT's are larger so it would not fit. At least not without some serious welding.

I believe the difference is just 1/4-inch. If that's correct, any muffler shop can modify the end of the pipe where the muffler slips on, thereby leaving you with the same modular exhaust you already have.

No drone with the Street Series, even with long tube headers. Both Magnaflows weigh about the same as one factory muffler

Thanks for the info... I'm 99% sure I will be getting the Magnaflow Street series.

I had the Magnaflow dual kit for the '10 V6 on mine. It sounded better than stock, but not too loud unless you really put your foot in it. Someone put the Roush on the GT I just bought, and I think the Magnaflow looks better. A little more 'finished'. Love the sound of the Roush, tho.
