Airaid CAI for 2013

I finally got my Airaid CAI and installed it on Wednesday night. I can't believe the difference in the sound alone. My neighbor with a 2003 Corvette refused to believe that I had a sixxer until I showed him what was under the hood.

When the 3.7l is modded with intake and/or exhaust, it does become more difficult to distinguish it from a v8 at idle. But you can tell the difference in higher higher rpms.

Putting one on my daily-driver '13 v6 this week. I need a little oomph in the 6 while my supercharged v8 is stored for the winter.

Yeah the sound alone makes it worth the $200 I paid for it! (they had a rebate for it back in sept.)

Here's my engine shot, yours looks much thinner than mine for some reason? Maybe it's just the angles

Yeah had it on for a couple tanks before the tune.

Before the car felt a bit more agile if that makes sense and throttle response improved lightly. The sound is the biggest difference youll see. 0 mpg gains.

After tune with 87 well the car felt butter smooth and it pulls!

With the correct 89 tune now omg you hear that cai scream! It sucks air like crazy and you just feel the torque pull you back after 3k

It's actually stock exhaust. I'm still trying to figure out which to buy. I'm leaning towards Roush, but I don't want it to be too loud. Looking for a deep tone, not expensive, and at a reasonable volume.

Yeah, but I was at a decently high RPM to get it to sound like that. Probably around 3 grand.

Which flowmasters were you looking at?

Force 2? I want them too. Sigh.

I wish someone had a pic of them installed with a 2011-12 GT valance. I want to see how far the tips stick out.

Anyone?!

flows suck. Roush all he way. Quiet cruising, screaming loud WOT. If you don't like backfires that sound like gunshots, dont get the roush and be a sissy with the flows
