Just got the car cleaned up and a bunch of spring mods installed.

So far I've got H&R race springs, H&R front and rear sway bars. Airaid coldair intake and throttle body spacer. Bama race tune, and a borla catback exhaust.

Looking to get a set of 25mm spacers and a short throw shifter. And possibly a driveshaft and safety loop.
Also want to do a gloss black vinyl on the roof and between the tail lights.

I'd like to see all your guy's rides as well, so post some pics

Nice car congrats. I also have a Performance Package V6 and was also thinking about spacers but got a little concern about how safe they are.

The springs are a 1.5 drop in front and 1.4 drop in rear. I was looking for a bit more, on the spacers. 25 mm with the ride height should put the tires right by the wheel lip.

Spacers aren't unuse technically. You just have to get the kind that have studs. Like the eobachs or h&r's that american muscle carries.

This car has 25mm spacers. Also has coilovers, which helps, but still. This seems like the right amount of poke.

Did any of you test drive the base vs the pp when you bought your stang? Any difference besides the trans?

Yea. Ive got to drive most of the 12' models. In my opinion huge differemce. The 3.31 gear in the pp is alot more peppy, and the tires are stickier and much more precise. Manual trans is the same, and auto should be too. Unless it was mapped different.

I would have gotten the pp but in 2012 it didnt come on an auto trans model. I just couldnt go with the MT-82 because of all the horror stories.

I got 3.73's ready to install bama tune CAI and roush axlebacks. Also a four bolt strut tower brace. Even with my stock rims/tires you think i can outperform a 12 pp now before the 3.73's are installed?

The 3.73's should be quick.. Ive got the tune and intake, and a catback. Itd probably be close in a straight line. You'd probable quicker due to shifts. But i think a summer tire would handle and stick alot better. I think we would probably run even though
