I plan on going with either a catback or axle back first.

With the Offroad Xpipe, you'll need an SCT Tuner to turn off some of the codes/CELs. I plan on saving some cash, get an offroad x and CAI at the same time then use the tuner.

I have the Steeda axle backs and a ford racing xpipe on my '10 and they perform and sound great... We did a magazine story about it in 5.0 Mag a couple of months back and were surprised to have gained some extra hp with just the axle backs.

How much power? Sales guy at Flowmaster was telling me their American Thunder axleback made 12rwhp. I am kind of doubting that but would love to hear it's true.

12? Not that high... if I remember around 4 or 5... It really threw us for a loop when we saw the increase at that time. Nothing noticable but on paper it was there

But then again you have a 5.0 so it might be true. But i'd wait to see Dyno sheets until I can believe a 12rwhp gain

okay, guess it doesn't, thought all the Mustang cat-backs they make came with them. They should call them h-pipe back systems instead of cat-back.
