Wheel / Rim set-up question

Hey all,
What is the best staggered wheel set-up (rim size and tire size) for 2013 Mustang GT (stock suspension)?
I have a 2013 Mustang GT and I want to install a set of staggered rims on the car. I have no plans of doing anything with the suspension right now.
What is the widest rim / wheel that can be installed without having clearance issues?

Thanks!

I've seen as much as 20x11 by a fellow Digital_Synapse. If I recall correctly, he was lowered as well and had minimal rubbing issues. He was running a 305 wide.

Assuming that's all fine and dandy, you could run a 19x10/11 and be completely fine on the stock suspension or if you were lowered. I do not know his offset on the Forgestar F14s he was running.

The problem more lies in what tire sizes you can and would want to run. 255/275 is a popular option

And with that set up 9/10 would be a good rim size as well as 8.5/9.5. Just most important to keep the overall diameter close to stock. There are several calculators online to be able to figure that with.

I'm going 9/10 and will more than likely be running 265/285

Thanks for the input!
I am deciding between 18" or 20" Bullitt style rims. I like the meaty tires on the 18" (gives it the old school look), but I have seen pics of stangs with 20" and they fill up the wheel well really nice.

My 2013 GT is Sterling Grey and I love the look of the old school style rims (either the Charcoal or Black rims). I think it would look pretty good on my Sterling Grey stang. Does anybody have these rims on their Mustang? If so, what size did you get? Any pictures available?

Thanks again all.

depends on your brakes. If you have Brembos, you're severely limited on wheel options.

I have tsw nurburgring 20x8.5 and 20x10 with nitto invo 295-35-20 and 255-35-20. These are on brembo brakes and I have no issues. I had the same set up on a lowered mustang with no issues as well. I would do an 11 inch wide rear on a 305 or 315. It's a really aggressive look.

What offset would the 11" wheels have to be? I'm an F-body convert so Mustang wheels/offests are new to me. 17x11's with 315's fit with a 50mm offset, but that's apples to oranges.

Here you go. 20 x 8.5 w 255/35/20 all the way around. when I need tires I will get 245 or 255/40's though b/c these are actually .7'' shorter than my factory and I would like a little more tire for ride as well as look.
