wheel hop
I removed my upper control arm, welded reinforcements on it, filled the bushing with loctite 3151 structual adhesive, no more hop, had the adhesive at work, no cost fix, just labor, have had many mustangs seems to me the upper control arm is the issue, used to replace uppers and lowers, just replaced the upper on my 06 gt that ran 11.60 with a 1.60 60ft and 275 drag radials. My Boss hopped bad at the strip before I did these mods to the uca no more hop now
My wheel hop is gone in my 2012 Brembo/Manual car ever since I installed my Koni Strts and Steeda sport springs. It was horrible before, but gone now. Also, the stock Pirelli's contribute when it is cold. I am currently running Nitto Nt555's on 20' TSW Nurburgring's and I have zero wheel hop in any temperature.

Did you concern yourself with the pinion angle issue at all?
I just tossed some UMI LCAs on there as well, with little noticeable change over the above setup but, it is only a couple degrees above freezing around here so, it's hard to know for sure. I do think you're taking the right course to address the upper first.
My main complaint is hop in this cold weather,i didnt have any or much during the warmer months. But since i drive this car all year as long as there is no snow on the ground the hop is terrible.
I hear ya. The tires are the culprit for what remains in my case, as the Pzero summers go rock hard in the winter weather. Probably not much further improvement for me until Mother Nature sticks her spoke in.
