What's your favorite mod so far?

So of all the things you have done to your Mustang GT 5.0, which is the one mod that put the biggest grin on your face?

How do your mods stack up for bang:buck ratio?

Suspension without a doubt. The car is good on power but needs a good set of dampers more than anything else.

I'd have to say the exhaust. It puts a grin on my face every time my foot presses the gas pedal. The stock exhaust was way too tame for me.

You make a good point here...It's tempting to work on a car's strengths (make a fast accelerating car go even faster) but working on the suspension might provide bigger rewards since there is more room for improvement.

Oh, yes. It's amazing...even these days where it's generally accepted that performance gains from exhaust systems are very small, the sensations that reverberate through your skull with a nicely tuned, loud exhaust system add SO much to the driving experience.

Any of the FI guys want to chime in?

For the 5.0 I would say the top 3 mods are:

1) any suspension / handling upgrades
2) a set of Roush axle backs (or any axle back)
3) MGW Shifter (despite the fact I don't sell them they rock!)

It's a tie between 3 for me.

1. MGW shifter
2. Roush Axlebacks
3. Koni Yellows and drop springs

Those three mods doubled my enjoyment of the car without a doubt.

First three in order
1. Corbeau Race Seats- stock seats suck when it comes to spirited driving.
2. MGW shifter- once again stock shifter sucks
3. GR500 AB with resonator delete.

Maybe it's just because it's the newest, but I really like my new cervini's cobra r hood. I see it every time I walk up to the car. It really brings together all of the cosmetic mods. But, I suspect the next one will always be my favorite.

On my 12, my roush axlebacks were my best mod, next was the grille, boss valence and splitter.

On my 13 I guess I can't say the recaros since it will come like that from ford, so technically it will have to be exhaust again. The v8 is such a perfect engine. The exhaust is the cherry on top.

As of now def the exhaust. It sounds so mean. I just want it a little louder

I consider the complete suspension and tires as one mod. Traction is not an issue.

Or the Shifter and shifter bracket - those are amazing almost working wonders on the MT82 for general driving and racing.

Roush Fascia

I love my Roush front fascia and grilles. I can't stop looking at them every time I park the car!

Probably the exhaust for me. Wakes up the car and turns heads. Soon to install struts and springs so we'll see if exhaust still holds as my favorite

Hands down, the best mod I have installed...of many.
