I'd be turning them into snow rims/tires I think, since I believe that 18" snow tires would be a bunch cheaper than 19's ... and 19" all-season tires are nothing to write home about in the snow ...

I'd send them with the oe tpms sensors and the oe locking lug nuts and lock tool.

A couple of reasons. One, performance wise, when I race its usually only 1/4 mile, so a little extra side wall helps my 60 foot time when I get the psi dialed in. Secondly, aesthetically, I came from the stance / import scene, and while low pro tires are great my opinion is that muscle cars need meat on their bones. I love the raked out look of the FRPP suspension with big tires. If anything else, its also because I don't like having the square setup that you have to run if you buy the SVE 19's (they're all 19x9.5), and even if I did, everyone already runs them. I might not be doing anything groundbreaking, but I don't want to do the exact same thing as someone else.

So, weirdest experience at the dealership, it took them nearly four hours to get the **** tires on the new rims, despite me making an apointment... but they bought me breakfast and then lunch, can't tell if I should complain or not, haha. I'm excited to have these things finally on, but she's going back in the cave for the rest of salt season, here are a few pictures. If anyone is interested in the GT500's that were on before they are definitely still for sale, PM me if interested.

Thanks man, I'm pretty stoked. Those are 255/45/18 front, 285/40/18 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercars. The GT500's are indeed 18x9.5, I'm not sure of the offset, but you can get a good idea of fender distance, etc. in my earlier pictures.

So on a whim I got the tail light tint covers from American Muscle, on sale they were $40. Due to the issue with the adhesive Velcro attachment being visible when lit I knew that they wouldn't be perfect from the get go. Unfortunately, even when I replaced the solid colored adhesive with better placed, clear 3m adhesive, it was still visible when lit. The end result, even when not lit, had no definition, making it look like a blob when you get within 10 feet. These weren't the best things in the world, but if you're not as detail oriented as I am they'll work just fine. Here's a picture with an idea of before and after. I went back and pulled it off after. Thoughts?

I had covers on my old car and they looked fantastic but I had the same problem you did. For the price they're good, but if you have the time and skills VHT nightshade looks better if you can get it smooth like paint. But, it does look pretty good!

Good call, Plasti Dip came out with a tint product that I'm gonna try if I can get my hands on it, we'll see how that goes. Worst case scenario I can just peel it off.

Gah plastidip is taking over... And it's so great!!!! Haha can you imagine getting pulled over for tinted taillights, then walking back and pulling it off to say problem solved! haha

So I decided that I didn't want any of the available, overpriced grilles that didn't allow me to keep my rally lights, so I made my own. I made the file on Adobe Illustrator and had it laser cut, added yellow tint to the rally lights and called it a day.
