After a tech installed my shifter, i noticed that it is shorter than the factory...and that my custom shift **** will not fit on it with the boot that the shift **** came with.


Any ideas on what we missed? Cause I know i have seen pictures of the mgw shifter with a chrome / satin boot and a shift **** on it. thanks

 

Did you possibly order or receive the wrong shaft from MGW? They have a 1.25" and 1.75" & I think the 1.25" one can only be used with the OEM stock shift **** (not the upgraded chrome/satin one)... I could be wrong, but just a thought...
