supercharger?
it depends on what you want to do..... twin screws are fun around town..... prochargers... vortechs tend to be fast racing ie they live at the hi rpms and the twin screw and positive displacment start to build to much heat
I've got the FR 525HP Supercharger...went this route because it comes with a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty if installed by an authorized Ford Dealer. The pros going this route the obvious (warranty), I can add a different size pulley and gain another 99 HP...the cons, a very low PSI for boost (7) when it could easily be 9 without any issues, probably even a higher. It's all about what you want to do and how fast you want to go.

Any supercharger will be awesome. I don't know of any crappy ones. I chose roush because of the warranty, but then got a custom tune due to the fact I absolutely hate the roush calibration.
I'm going to suggest Procharger or Vortech if you want the least expensive option, and it is easy to install yourself too.
But you say you have more money or don't want to install it yourself?
Both the Ford Racing and Roush both sell those that can be dealer installed. Although this is the most expensive option, you do get a warranty. Please note that it may differ from your original warranty provided by Ford.
There are also other options like Paxton, Whipple, etc.
And, Amplifier28, this guy here is on another forum I frequent and had his mustang spotlighted on the Paxton blog.

From what I heard though is whether it be PD or a centri style supercharger kit is that you must maintain the supplied tune with the kit to keep the supercharger powertrain warranty. Any truth in that? From what I read also is the supplied tune is conservative and you will be tempted to load a better running tune... I know for a fact I would

I like the Paxton novi 2200. it can keep you covered from just low psi or go full tilt. no need to upgrade the head unit when you want to really turn the wick up.
I like the linar power curve of the centrificals over the PD's.
