SR Performance short shifter
So I am wanting to upgrade my stock shifter and I am on a limited budget. I know everybody talks about the Barton and MGW but I dont want to spend that much so.....I am wondering if anybody has used the SR performance shifter and their thoughts.
Thanks

The two do look virtually identical in photos, but the SR one advertises shorter throws than the Steeda.
I took a hard look at the Steeda myself before I caved to peer pressure and sprung for the MGW. Best decision I ever made. It's a lot of money, but worth every single penny.

I have owned the SR. shifter and bracket for over two years in my daily driver ('11 GT) without any issues. If you are getting the shifter, install the bracket at the same time. AM has them priced as a packaged at $200, then get a discount code for even less.

SR Shifter
I tried this shifter twice with the same outcome in my 14 GT. I found the spring in the shifter to be too soft. Which I let AM know about but no fix was known. As I placed my hand on the shifter going into first from a stop I would go into reverse quite often without trying. I had to make sure I wasn't in reverse all the time so I opted to stay with the stock setup after the two tries. I just bought the street MGW so hopefully it works as advertised. I wouldn't recommend the SR.
