Sound Tube Delete
For all you lazy asses that aren't too into DIY, but want to get rid of your sound tube, it'll be worth your while to get the delete kit from Shrader Performance. Was worth the $15 to me.
Both pieces fit perfectly and the "deinstall" took 1 minute. Maybe 2?

Or www.CooltechLLC.com has it for 12!
It's more of a hassle to do it yourself then to just order the parts IMO and IME. The auto store a will have the plug bit not the cap.

I didn't notice any sound difference in mine. The only reason I did it was I did not like the way the sound tube looked. There is an added benifit with getting rid of the tube, it is much easier to get to the dipstick to check the oil.

My JLT came with these components. I went ahead and deleted the tube because it was an ugly mess, and there is plenty of noise from the JLT. However, the firewall plug fell out. I now have a piece of clear tape sealing that hole. LOL.
