Sneak peak @ JLT's new CAI for 2011 GT W/FRPP/Whipple/Roush S/C's
Good news for FRPP & Whipple supercharged 2011 5.0’s
JLT has designed an intake kit to fit your 5.0, not a GT500 kit that requires trimming, but a 5.0 specific kit designed to use the stock air inlet from, the grille and seal to the hood.
The all new BIG AIR intake is the largest Carbon Fiber intake you can get measuring 127mm ID at the MAF.
We have been testing this on the GT500’s for a while now with great results and now have confirmed fit on the FRPP/Whipple supercharged 5.0’s. We will be doing some testing very soon for some dyno numbers, but you can expect 1-2 PSI over the stock closed air box and that can equate to big HP gains. At this time Evolution Performance has been using them on their supercharger packages with great success.
