Roush supercharger stage\phase question
#21
They make a phase 3 tune for aluminator and 1 for stock. I'm making 550rwhp and 481TQ avg 10.5 boost with a couple spikes to 12 due to exhaust restriction, conservative timing and 45 degree temp. The TVS loves cold weather.

Yes, I can vouch for the TVS loving the cold weather. I have the stock airbox and I could have sworn I've heard the "whistle" on more than a couple of occasions during some cold weather.

You're making 550 with the phase 3 kit??? I'm making 546 rwhp from the phase 1 kit with a vmp tune in 95 degree heat. With the roush calibration it was 508. Shouldn't you be high 500s low 600s?

Got ya. I thought I had missed something. It didn't seem right. What was the roush calibration numbers for the phase 3? Or did you even have the roush cal?

Im making 617whp and 544tq on the phase 1 kit , BAP,Stock Airbox, 80 mm pulley and the car runs great(dyno tuned). I just drive it normal and it gets the occasional interstate sprint. couldnt be happier

I was thinking of keeping the stock air box as well and just changing out the pulley and getting a 93 octane tune, which is the fuel we have here in MA.

Thanks , yeah I never used the 85mm pulley I went straight to the 82mm at first but I feel like this 80 is the sweet spot , not concerned adding the CAI as it runs great and I'm right where I wanna be power wise. I never see more than 9.5 psi even on cold days.

The stock air box works well. I may go the same route, only with a 93 tune!

In a perfect world that's the way to do it , don't wanna pile up miles with a blower on. I've only put 3100 miles on mine since I put the blower on 7 months ago

I got my car in March of '13 with 32 miles and she has under 900 miles on her currently.
