Roush supercharger stage\phase question

So I am saving to get the Roush stage 3 supercharger here in a couple months, and I have a question... I have been reading about the different stages and phases of the s/c... on the Roush website it only lists stages, what are the phases?

thanks in advance

Here is your Phase 1
http://www.roushperformance.com/part...arger-Kit.html

Here is your Phase 2
http://www.roushperformance.com/part...it-570-HP.html

Here is your Phase 3
http://www.roushperformance.com/part...ase-3-675.html

If you go anywhere near the Phase 3, you better hope you have forged internals. Your engine won't last long with that much power and torque with weak components.

Let us know if we can help you out at all, we are a direct Roush dealer. We offer all 3 phases also including their tuner kit and many variations of custom kits. Many of our custom kits are pushing 600+ HP safely to the wheels.

The phase 3 is 675 at the crank not wheels, with the phase 3 and the Roush tune you'll be around 560 ~ 580 at the wheels. I'm running the same as the phase 3 (phase 2 with a different boost a pump and Brenspeed tune = cost less) getting 570 at the wheels (w/20" 295 tires on the rear).
Like Jay said lots of people running in the 600hp area on stock internals.

We were able to get 30+ hp more safely using both a VMP tune and Lund tune over the Brenspeed tune. We did this on one of our 12's and one on a customer's car. You also do not have to send in your PCM with the Roush kit like a lot of people do with the Brenspeed tune.

Exactly.
I'd be careful with 675 on a stock block/internals on the engine over a long period of time. I guess if you're not hammering it all the time, it may last longer. It's still 675 on the stock block/internals. How good is the stock block/internals good for? Maybe I'm wrong?

From what I understand, based on discussions with various tuners, 550 - 575 whp on stock internals is the "safe" zone...

^ with everything else stock, Jay?

If so, that's impressive. If no issues, that's great! I know for me, just personal preference, but I wouldn't feel comfortable with that much power with else being stock.

I highly recommend buying from Hypermotive. Awesome customer service and super fast shipping. Ordered over the phone on a Saturday and Jay had it to my house on Thursday. I went with the phase 1 and I've pretty already cooked my rears off just driving around. Car is so much fun to drive.

Texasgtguy.

If you need a recommendation for an installer in the Ft.Worth let me know.

Also, Jay@Hypermotive is excellent.

I'm going to do the Roush Phase 2

Phase 3 + a custom tune = the most fun one can have with their clothes on.
