Looks good. Don't get it wet for at least a week...more if you can. Let that tape have time to bond that way you won't have any pull when temps change.

I can't see it pulling sense it's bolted to the existing hood.

Wasn't trying to tell you what to do but trying to help.

Even though theres bolts, hood scoops tend to pull on the corners. Do a search. Some even crack at the corners because of uneven tension.

This is because no human can get all bolts tightened down exactly the same torque and align the scoop exactly to the contour of the hood. So the tape is added security.

However, remember the location of the bolts. They don't go to the edge of the scoop. The tape does. However, This leaves room to warp and pull in temperature changes.

Look at my scoop. As you can see, I have some pull. I equate this the original owner getting it wet before bonding. Tightening the bolts would not solve the pull if that makes sense. It's because of the bolts location.

Trust me on this and refrain from washing for at least a week.

That car looks like pure angry from the front- very nice!

And- as to all owners of black cars- I salute you! Black is the most awesome looking color when its clean (i.e., for all of those 5 minutes between the after-wash chamois and when the first speck of dust makes contact ).

Great looking Mustang!

And so true...some days I think I spend more time cleaning the day than driving it... Lol
