Roush Exhaust Shopping

Hey guys,

Thinking of getting the roush axlebacks for my 2011 gt.

Right now I'm seeing $469 with free shipping. I'm pretty sure when I was shopping for them before I've seen ~$379.

I'm patient and can wait for a sale if I know the right price to look for.

If you bought these, what was the best deal you've seen on them?

Cheers!

I paid $340 shipped for mine I think in April or May from CJ Pony that was the lowest I had seen them and they have gone up since then . . .

Roush stepped in and regulated what retailers have to charge a few months back. The big retailers who buy in mass quantities were making it hard for the smaller retailers. PM Steve @ PureSpeedMotorsports who's a TMS vendor. I'm not sure what he'd charge, but he's always helping out guys on the forum.

You should PM Steve from Purespeed Motorsports.
Look for him in the vendor showcase...
Great customer service and willing to help customers find the best deals!

That's the cheapest I've heard of. I'll have to keep an eye on them.

I PMed him. He seemed really nice. He told me they're selling for 429 shipped. Which is good but the JDM price is better especially if I can grab on sale.

I don't think Roush has made a catback for the 2011 and up yet. Just the axle backs so far.

Let me restate my question Lol. Do the 2010 Mustang GT Roush Catback exhaust sound louder than 2011 GT Axle backs. Just out of curiosity

I couldn't answer that one for ya. I haven't heard them on a 10, once on an 05 but that was a while ago.

Haven't heard a catback on a 2010 but I'm pretty sure it didn't have mufflers or resonators . . . that said the 11 up axle back "muffler" that roush uses is a completely open design, you can hold it up to light and see right through it. Also 2010 had the 4.6 with a different firing order etc so the sound really isn't comparable.
