Roush axle backs with Ford Racing Xpipe - Video!

I know I've been promising for months and finally had time yesterday. My buddy took these on his HD video camera and they're unedited.

Roush axle backs with Ford Racing after cat Xpipe. Enjoy!

I've been going back and forth between this or the Boss quad. I want a little deeper sound from the Roush.

The after cat pipe definitely makes them deeper. Got rid of the rasp and popping too.

Sounds mean but I'm partial to H pipes for deeper American Muscle sound. Unfortunately at the expense of a few ponies

I was totally ready for that other car in the 2nd one to be flashing his blue & red lights as he turned the corner!

John, it sounds awesome! I'll def be getting an after cat X unless I go with headers eventually.

Did they get quieter at all? Or just less pop? Definitely much smoother. This with resonators removed should be awesome.

Nah we were good. There was a festival going on in town over the weekend. Every officer in a 10 mile radius was patrolling it and we were way out in the country.

It really cleaned up and refined the sound. If I'm cruising through my subdivision at like 25 and put it in neutral it sounds almost as if it shut off. Comes in handy when coming home late lol. Same goes for cruising in 6th gear around 35-40 mph it goes silent practically. It's really smooth, the trumpety rasp is gone on heavy acceleration. I wouldn't say it's quieter so much as smoother. It's definitely not louder though.

I'd like to go full exhaust one day too but this is perfect for now. Removing the resonators with the Roush's though I hear makes them super obnoxious, but the after cat Xpipe might smooth it out. I'd be curious to hear it.

Yeah my plan is to remove the resonators for some more volume and then if I don't like it or it gets too harsh sounding ill pop in the X, which should hopefully smooth it back out. We'll see.
