An absolute pleasure to read Frank! I've got a few loose ends to tie up and it looks as though the GT500's will find their way onto mine as well!

Snowed out again today!!!
Yeah we got over a foot around here ... I never even went out yesterday ... the GF came in and said thee was only a dusting on the Stang, the Focus was buried (the Stang is parked under a car port) ... I'll be going out shortly to see what's out there ... hopefully I can drive Gray Chariot and not have to take Lil Red ... lol

Lol ... now that's some creativity!

I have the Gt500s with resonator delete which is my second favorite axle back system. It's the best bang for your buck by far. The Borla S type is the best with the GT500s -resonators running a close second. You're getting the best there is.

Great review Frank! It made me want to drive an hour north just to look at my car sitting in the dealer's showroom and make VROOM VROOM noises!

The negative aspect of removing the resonator with the GT500's is your mpg will suffer....

I tend to spend more time in lower gears, blip the throttle in parking lots and low speed cruising, downshift at higher speeds when stopping, and generally do things to hear that perfect sound.

Of course this is much easier with the manual tranny.....and it exercises the left leg. All of this kills the average mpg which remains the same if you just drive the car like grandma....wait.....she hot rods it too. Keep forgetting we have been in the grandma/pa stage for 20 years...lol

Good read. But as others have said, borla s is king. If Frank writes great reviews with the gt500s, if he had borlas and wrote about it, he'd probably win the Pulitzer.

Who runs faster? That's the deciding question. she can't kill you if she can't catch you.

Or if you could jump into the car and fly off faster than she can get you then there ya go! Make her bask in the glorious sound waves as you rocket down the road
