Remove 5.0 from Engine Cover

Remove 5.0 from Engine Cover

Anyone know how to remove the 5.0 from the engine cover? Is it as simply as a hairdryer and fishing line?

It looks like its on pegs plastic welded to the cover.

other quick thing to do would be plastic dip it so that it wont pope out

I want to replace it with a new one since it got scratched up

I saw that. I might give in, but I still have to paint my chin spoiler and pay for vacation. $$$$$. Here's the engine cover.
