Procharger P1SC-1 Stage II Project Underway!

Hey all sorry for the lag in updating the thing. I went on Christmas vacation and haven't been able to work on the mustang. I've got a dyne session with Jon Lund set up right after the new year. No i didn't install the intercooler backwards, that would be crazy! It isn't on the drivers side. I actually got kind of impatient, and went out with my roommate watching the AFR on the computer and gave it a WOT pull to 7000 rpms to see if it would build enough boost, thinking it would not if there was a leak. HOLY CRAP it's powerful. I'll tell you right now the car RIPS for not being tuned. AFR's were low 11's so its kind of rich but safe. I messed around a little bit more. The car will tear the tires loose about 4000-5000 rpm's in 1st or 2nd gear at WOT. I also broke the tires loose in third but it was pretty cold outside for the summer tires. Pretty much, I need some wider softer rubber . I'll get the rest of the pictures up and the dyne results after the tune.
Also, I there are two parts to the fascia. The actual fascia and the black insert. I removed the black insert and cut the white part of the fascia. It looks like crap, but that's ok because the black part will cover it up. The shop i'm going to be tuning at said they'll help me out with the cutting of the black part, which is awesome because I don't have any tools for that kind of stuff right now. But FYI for those considering this. You are going to hack the hell out of your fascia... it is not minor trimming. Also the plastic covers on the bottom of the car will have to be cut or just removed because the IC piping gets in the way.

What other mods do you have other than the procharger? Please don't take this the wrong way, does the torque seem low to you?
I shopping for a 11 or 12 GT automatic and will be doing this or a tvs style, but leaning towards a pc so i can do the boss intake.
At what point/rpm does all hell break loose?

Torque is exactly where it should be this Centri charger. It's not going to give you the low end instant torque that TVS blower will give you, and torque is higher than I expected it to be for a centri blower. It has no other mods. I'll only be updating the rims and tires ha ha if you can call that a mod.
Here is a good write up/ review for the FRPP 525 and 624 hp kit with their dyno numbers. As you can see torque numbers are similar; http://www.hotrod.com/techarticles/e...er_for_the_50/
I broke the tires loose today in third gear while going about 50 mph when i went WOT. It rips the tires loose in 1st and 2nd gear anytime about 4000 rpms when you go into the boost. I just can't imagine the car with more TQ on the low end, it would be so much overkill. It just doesn't have enough grip for DD car. The only real advantage I see the twin screw having is crusing at a real low rpm in 4th or 5th and then going WOT, it will defiantly pull harder get into the power band quicker. But for a DD the power my car is making is awesome. Also, I've had two twinscrew superchargers on other cars before this, if you keep them on medium or heavy load for an extended amount of time they get heat soaked way badly and power drops WAY OFF! That's why i decided to try a centri style. I looked at paxton and vortech, they require a ton of modifications to the engine bay and the HP numbers seemed exactly the same. I called vortech and procharger to ask questions. I didn't get a hold of anyone at vortech just their operator who just hung up on me twice. At procharger I got transferred to an engineer who answered all my questions, so that was the deal breaker for me. Their company showed me that they care more than making or saving money.

Awesome. I got the same kit from evolution performance, only difference is I'm running an offroad xpipe. It should be here friday. What size pulley are you running? You still running the stock clutch ?

Yeah, it's a great kit way fun. I'm just running the 7 psi pulley, but it still made 9.5 psi which is interesting, I'm at seal level and it was really cold outside. Yes, it's still on the stock clutch but I've only had it on for 3 weeks. I haven't had it slip yet, nor have I "launched the car from a stop."

Hey a couple quick questions about tires sizes. How big of a tires should I go in order to get optimum grip for a street tire. I would think 295 or 285 for a 9.5 would be good. TSW makes these rims that I want. Why not go with 19X10.5 and throw some 305's on? But it seems no on is running 10.5s. What's wrong with this?
