Painted my Brembos

I ordered the G2 caliper paint and Brembo decals from Flea Bay. It went on fairly easy, two coats. I tried to mask off the silver end bolts, but they just didn't turn out well, so I painted over them. I may try and find some small round silver overlays for them.

The problem with the G2 is that once you mix the accelerator into the paint it starts to harden after 4-6 hours. Due to other reasons, I didn't have time to do the rears, so I had to order another batch. I should be able to do the rears on Friday.

It's a little pricey, but good stuff. If you get it on your hands or anything else, it's hard to get off, so mask carefully.

Had the camera on the wrong setting, so that's why it's blue.

Looks good! I really like it! I was thinking about doing this as well, although I might do the decals in black.

That might look good, I just wanted the classic Brembo look.

I never understood highlighting brake calipers, especially painting them a color that's not even on the car, but okay.

I hope you didn't do it because of those vehicles. I know manufactures do it, just don't understand why. A brake caliper too me isn't a center point of a vehicle that I want people to focus on.

I did it because I think it looks better than the dark brown finish on them. I was just pointing out that others do also.

As long as you like it,that's all that matters. I was just stating that I didn't understand it.

It creates depth and dimension. It also makes the rims a focal point on his car. Sometimes a splash of color brightens up a dull car.
