Opinions on mods i have purchased for my 2012 gt!
I have chosen to go naturally aspirated. I have purchased a long tube header kit from stainless works, and I have purchased a Roush intake and axleback kit. When the longtubes are installed will get a custom 93 octane tune. What do y'all think of this set up and what else can I do to increase hp&tq?

I'm curious to see how loud your exhaust setup will be. I have the roush axle back and would love a set of stainless works headers but some say it'll be to loud.

Its going to be loud, too loud for my taste but with the proper tune it is going to be maxed out for bolt on power if you add cai. It should run great if your tune is right.

I say cancel your order for the Roush intake and buy my JLT Carbon Fiber intake.

As far as what else you should get, I'd say get a Boss Manifold!
Here's a great deal!

I too would like to hear how those headers paired with the Roush's would sound. I agree w/S197, cancel that cai and get his. You'll get better gains from that one.

I was going to go with the C&L cai but I found the roush kit with both intake and exhaust for a good deal so I'm going with the roush for now possibly later if I'm not satisfied I'll upgrade. All the mods only costed me 1670$ ; stainless works LT's with o/r xpipe and roush cai & axleback system. I think I got a pretty good deal. Going to do the custom tune at Stang hi performance in baton rouge , LA. Shooting for October so can spend more time on the dyno it's to hot in the shop in august and September. Hoping for some good results with the tune.

I have a boss mani sitting in my living room still in the box! Not sure if I want to put it on anymore. It's for sale but I may install it later on if no one buys it.

You will love the LT Headers. I went with an O/R X-pipe in addition since my car is not a daily driver. I am going to try and get some audio/video. It's very loud so be warned and at 7,000 rpm on the dyno it about blows your ear drums out.
During normal driving it's not loud at all, just a nice rumble, but anything over 3K or at WOT and it sounds like a racecar. Cats are nice but I don't mind the smell. I have hushpowers but they are no longer hush.
You smell that? Do you smell that? Remember with O/R X-pipe you get some burnt gas smell out the back. Only notice it at a stop light and so do those sitting next to your car. LOL

good luck and everything 411 said is on the money these cars love the 1 7/8 longtubes and o/r X pipe.
if you keep the stock section of the exhaust with resonators and go with a good chambered muffler like the GT 500's you will have a nice sound with no drone.
and dont think it will be to quiet with those mufflers because it will still sound like a flat out race car at WOT
