Which oil seperator!

Looks like it's working good, especially if you don't have any oil at the intake line. Do you have any pictures of the top half of the can where the two ports are? I would like to see how it's constructed.

Looks good. What were you running before the Bob's? My fiancée has an 07 GT that I installed a UPR can on back last fall. I checked the hose at the intake and it had oil in it so some oil is also getting through on hers. It may be time to switch to Bob's on hers.

The PCV line vents crankcase pressure back to the intake. A little bit of oil comes with it, dirties up the intake, and lowers the effective octane rating of your fuel. This traps that oil.
Can anybody tell me what the difference is between Bob's regular and Ultimate?

I'm pretty sure you do. I don't think the ultimate kit comes with them. Since I didn't want to cut up my factory PVC hose, I just bought two new connectors from Ford. They were about $20.
Boden,
With as much oil as this engine seems to pull through the PVC system to the intake, I wouldn't be without an oil separator.

Just an update, the Moroso I put on my car is working really well!
No oil residue in the hose going back to the intake manifold!
It's amazing how much oil goes through that PVC line.
Plus I love the way it looks!

Looking at most of them, it looks like they just sorta hang there, no bracket or anything. Anybody had any problems with this? I'll probably go Bob's or Moroso because they both have an actual bracket to keep things from flopping around, but wondering peoples' thoughts on this who have used these.

Yeah not a fan of stuff that isn't really attached to anything. I'm leaning towards the Moroso at the moment, it's a nice looking piece, metal fittings...the hose itself might leave something to be desired but we have spools of quality bulk hose at work.

Well, got a bunch of gear from American Muscle yesterday, and my Moroso oil separator was in there. Very nice, looks and feels like a quality piece, hoses feel pretty sturdy too, though I know that can change under heat. Won't be able to try it for a while but first impression is top notch!
