I trust Stanghi. Usually the only bad thing I hear is about money. Gotta pay to play. I don't know of JMS.

Dunno man. They tune everything. I would prefer a strictly mustang tuner but that's just me. If you do decide to check into dyno tune it's worth taking a ride and talking to Stanghi though.

This is what JMS wrote me.

Richie, the founder of JMS is also the founder of SCT . Our head tuner has been personally trained by him (he started tuning in 1999). JMS started custom tuning Mustang's in 1993. Steeda started custom tuning Mustang's in 2006. .

Sounds like either way is not a bad choice. And both better than the mail order tune IMO.

The good guys at Steeda are looking into my current tune and will have me fixed up shortly.
Now the suck part is finding some one again that will lend me there windows pc to load a new tune. Why is everyone not on the Mac bandwagon and forget Windows.

2006? LOL... way off on that one. We were already using the dyno for tuning when I started here back in 1999, so we were tuning even before that!

I was going to go that route but cody and the gang dont wanna put your car on the rollers unless you have a major upgrade like a supercharger. I had an appointment to get a "Custom" dyno tune from them and its not really a Custom dyno tune . All he really does is use an Base SCT file and Data log it for you when you get a custom tune from them. I was putting an OFF road X pipe on and i wanted numbers and they acted like they didnt wanna mess with the dyno. So i decided to go with AED and did my own data logging for Shaun and im glad i did . Car pulls like a freight train for the mods i have and Shauns customer service is Very Good

Did you return to stock tune before loading in the revised tune from Steeda and did you update your SCT tuner before loading in the revised tune?

Just curious!

First I had to return the car to its stock tune before loading the updated tune also before you can update your tuner it's needs to have the stock tune back on the car and this came from SCT. Also before I made any changes to my car I made sure I did them during regular business hours for both company's.
