I did last weekend.

I used the Ford Racing One-Step Cooler plugs for my Whipple.

Really easy swap. 15 minutes tops.

No problem.

Don't run a cooler plug though unless you are getting blown, turbo'd, or running nitrous.

Just get the factory heat range.

Someone needs to do some dyno testing with wires and plugs among other simple things; I donate my car to Steeda for anything they want to try bolt on wise (ATTN GUS!!!) ...... When i had my 2001 SS, I changed the stock plugs when it was new to NGK Tr6's and TAylor vertex 10.4 mm wires. It was worth 6- 7 more to the rear wheels depending on the run. Amsoil was worth 4-5 rwhp over the stock oil but i didn't use it. There are big gains to made by simple things. We just need to test the Coyote with some simple stuff like this and find out what makes power and what doesn't as little as it may be. it all adds up.

You should not run the colder plugs unless you need to.The Ford Racing cold plugs are for use with a supercharger. You might actually lose performance running the cold plugs on a stock or bolt on N/A car.

Hold on a sec...who's tune are you running? Your sig says SCT-93 Octane.

Are you running a canned SCT tune, or are you running a tune from BBR, Bama, Brenspeed, etc?

Have you been using octane booster?

Don't buy a cooler heat range plug for your current mod setup. Seriously!!

So you have a Steeda tune, and the programmer (tuner as you call it) is an SCT device. The tune is from Steeda, you just use the SCT to load it into the vehicle.

Do not put the cooler heat range plugs in your car. They are made for a supercharged application.

When I originally replied to your thread, I mentioned my plugs and that they were for my Whipple.

I thought you might have had a question on how to read the plugs, or install questions.

I do not recommend or condone you putting those in your car.

What's making you think you have spark blow-out? Do you hear it, or are you datalogging?

It sounds identical to the spark knock I had in my Durango a few years ago... I've got steeda looking into it now... Sent plugs back... PS: I'm a cartard so not sure what to do...
