Cool New Exhaust Setup on my 2013 GT! JBA Offroad Xpipe and GT500 Axle Back! LOVE IT!

Got my new JBA Offroad Xpipe and I liked the sound with the Pypes Pype Bombs but it was VERY loud so I had to change that up. Got my new GT500 axle back exhaust last week and installed it and I'm LOVING this setup!! I highly recommend it to everyone out there. The car sounds so much quieter on the inside (even compared to just the pype bombs with stock midpipe) but on the outside it still sounds sick. It sounds a lot more refined in my opinion. Also, the quality of the ford racing gt500 style mufflers is awesome and fitment is perfect and they are only around $310 shipped from American Muscle which is really cheap.

Listen to it and let me know what you think!!

VIDEO FROM THE NEW CHANNEL!

And here's an overview of the new setup and why I went with the GT500 axle back!

And here is what the car sounded like with the offroad xpipe and the pype bombs idling and revving to compare.

Here are some photos of the GT500 axle back.

If I can get rid of my Flowmasters I'm going go go with the GT500s. They sound great and are quieter.

Hey Jeff, your car sounds awesome with the GT500's and x pipe. How is the fitment on this pipe? I read they used to have some issues with leaks. Not sure if this is still the case or not.
Are you planning to do a new cammed tune with the Gt500's?. I installed the same mufflers but haven't decided on x or h yet. Would really like to hear the ghost tune with your current setup.

This my friends, is a guy that is clearly single. Either that or his significant other is showered with awesome stuff, and often.

Car sounds better w/ the GT500 mufflers. Thank you for switching to them, so I'll already know what my car will sound like :-)

Thanks! Yeah I was considering that setup but wanted to delete the cats for the additional power.

Nice! Yeah I LOVE this sound so much more than the way it sounded with the pype bombs. Thanks!

Yeah they are pretty awesome. And they are so inexpensive and the quality and fitment is perfect.

Thanks!! The fitment on the JBA xpipe and the gt500 axle back are great. I'm not having any issues. And the tune itself stays the same since I just changed mufflers. I'll be doing a new video letting people hear it with the gt500s. It's definitely a lot quieter and less aggressive than before, but still sounds pretty good.

MUCH better sounding. The Pypes are total junk. I never understood why people put the cheapest exhaust on their $30,000+ cars. Now that you changed it I can comment...I didn't want to rag on your set up. I had both Borla S types and Corsa Extreme axle backs along with the Magnaflow offroad x pipe on the Boss. After I installed the blower it was deafening. If I kept it I would have the GT500 mufflers on it

Sounds nice. Do you still have the stock resonators upstream of the GT500 mufflers? Thanks.

Good idea basically of what to expect, other than that I'm resonator-less. I still love the brap brap of the Coyote.

I just did the same thing. I switched from a magnaflow catback (competition series) to the stock overaxles and GT500 mufflers last night.

Mines different in that I have a Boss H pipe and Jegs cat deletes. I have the plates in the sidepipes currently, and the sound is so much better than it was before. Volume is definitely cut in half, but I picked up some tone.

I think I prefer the sound the car had with the cats on and the magnaflows, but this should make more power and sounds 99% as nice.
