Need some help

I have a 2011 Mustang GT...it has 20x 8.5 wheels on it with 255/35/20 nit to 555's. I bought roush lowering springs that said they were for factory shocks and struts. The roush web site said it would only lower the car 1" in the front and 1.25 in the rear. More like 1.50 in the front and 2 in the rear. Anyways, what i need help with is this...I want the car to handle better, it handles as well as it did with the factory set up...but not like i want it to. I do have a strut tower brace on it. Suggestion...thanks.

If you have the cash and want it done right(that's a good drop) I'd say camber plates& bolts, shocks &struts, and adjustable panhard.

I personally use steeda for my suspension but there's a lot of good ones out there. I did adjustable panhard w/ brace and upper n lower contrlol arms. For shocks n struts( I don't have em) I know many guys seem to like koni str.t's. Hear they're real good and best priced.

8.5 inch wheels? Aren't the stockers 9? At least mine are, IIRC.

before you do any more mods on the car, talk with a real good suspension tech. Getting some clear directions based on WHAT you want the car to do is essential.

when you use the word "handling" that can represents quite a few things, is it straight line stability -- slalom racing -- road racing -- canyon carving? determine what you want from the car and the build the package around your needs.

if you've spent money on the Roush springs, why not contact Roush and see if they offer a complete handling package minus the springs you installed?

mixing and matching parts can have an unexpected result... and that winds up costing you money..
