Sam, can you take a moment to talk about spring rates? I've seen two difference places claim the stock 2011 GT springs rates as 122/154, but I don't know what the brembo rates are. Regardless, those rates seem *really* low to me.

All my experience comes from the g35/350z world, where the (revised, 04.5+) stock rates are 314/427. Those rates are two to three times stiffer (statically) than the mustang, on a comparatively lighter car.

I've made multiple near-oem suspension changes to my g35 over the years, and right now I'm riding on an oem nismo 350z shock/spring set. The nismo z spring are rated at 492/672, and my sedan is right at 3500lbs.

As a personal preference, I would like much stiffer springs on my brembo gt, and perhaps a little less shock rebound. I autocross occasionally, but never competitively. Can you recommend a shock/spring setup (or coilover setup)? Or would it be best to call you?

The stock spring rates on the 11-12 GT's are 125 front and 154 rear. If you're into autocross like myself you need much stiffer spring rates. My personal choice is the Eibach Multi-Pro R2 kit. Double adjustable in front and rear. Spring rates are available in rates ranging from 150-1200. From what I've seen, no one else offers that range. I might be wrong but it's just what I've seen. I'd give Sam a call and talk to him. Knows his stuff real well and also sells the kit I'm talking about. Also, look at this article that Eibach has on their website about the install of this kit on a 2011 GT.
