Not sure this qualifies as OCD. Just lack of impulse control. if you wash your car while it's raining like me, that's more akin to OCD. I think it should be called CDO however as that's in alphabetical order.

When I first got my Stang (this being my first Mustang and 1st new car) I said to myself I would leave it stock until I pay it off... Lol, well next week marks 2 years I owned my car and already put in about 9k worth of mods... It's an addiction and u will find yourself doing whatever it takes to mod for the next mod and it continues...

I don't think my modding constitutes a problem. I can quit any time I want to.

...only thing is...I don't want to...

I thought I was the only one crazy enough to do that. Being in the PNW, I don't really have a choice.

Wait until you start having dreams about mods. I've had three so far where I'll just be cruising along, and so happen to hear slight supercharger whine while rowing through the gears.

Can you guys elaborate more on that " wash-the-car-while-it's-raining " thing.

I'm really not getting it !!!!

Pretty sure it means their car is dirty, and it is raining outside - but they wash it anyway just to get the dirt off, knowing darn well that they're just going to end up with a slightly cleaner car with water spots. All of us are a bit OCD in one way or another.

This. For me at least. Mine is a DD, so I'm washing once a week, regardless if it's raining. If it's really pouring out, I'll wait until it lets up to get her clean and wiped down. I refuse to let the dirt build up for over a few weeks worth; it makes cleaning take longer. And don't get me started on all those tiny little dirt/tar spots that take a **** good rubbing just to get them off. Come spring, I have to clay bar again.

Back to the topic... I've been itching for new wheels for years now, but money has just been too tight. Been eying out the base GT500 wheels from 2010, but now I'm looking at the base 2013s. I need the wider rubber to even have a shot at justifying throwing a whipple on.

IMO every bad *** Mustang is lowered, so that's mandatory for me. If I had an 11+ 5.0, a good suspension would be the bare minimum but I'm sure I'd so more.

Paying for mods without the wife knowing is tough. I funnel $275 bi-weekly into my employer's credit union for "spending money" which I have linked to PayPal. Works for mods or just random **** I buy on Ebay. Not hiding anything, just don't get questioned on the Visa bill lol.

Well, I see that I am in good company. I bought my 11 gt and decided to drive it. I lasted about a year then came the wheels tires CAI and exhaust. Well, as it was I decided to buy a 13 GT premium. That was this morning. I have not even picked it up yet and it is in the dealer getting 3.73 gears, a CAI, Borla exhaust, x pipe, pro line springs. American muscle Saleen style black rims and NT 555's. I am going to get my butt kicked when my wife finds out.

My 3.73 gears are ordered.
I am going back and forth on lowering it.My last mustang was lowered just a bit with the Bullet Mustang springs(it was an '04). My driveway is short and steep as it goes into the garage and I was scraping each time I pulled into the garage. As it is now, if I have anyone other than myself, my undercarriage scrapes a tick. I really don't want to grind it every time I park it.

Anyone want to buy my stock set? I listed them in the ads.
Gotta find a way to offset the cost :-)

Now that's getting creative! I'm in a similar situation and have the cash for everything i'm buying but just prefer not to have to explain why i'm buying more parts while the car is still in storage.
