I dont want to go into detail here on the interwebz.I hope you guys understand.The cats just failed and came apart and clogged the exhaust sending backpressure back into the heads and hurting the motor.

there were parts of the cat all the way to the X pipe.This is not usually a catastrophic (sp) event but in a worse case scenario it can happen.

I know of atleast 2 other 2011 5.0's that had the cats take a dump and they were both supercharged but fortunately they did not do any damage to their motors like I did.

I was running the exhaust set up in my sig at the time and there was not much warning.It just seemed like my car was not making normal power and almost like I was hitting a soft rev limiter when I would get to around 5K

I parked it after it started feeling like it dropped a cylinder and off to the shop it went.It's been a expensive lesson learned but in the end everything will be ok.I'll have a forged bottom end and some nice ARH longtubes and no cat's
