My 2013 GT Crazy Canadian Build thread
HAHAHA! dude i live a FUN hour and a half away when you own a shelby! wtf!
Yes i plan on heading to that one for sure.
My office is downtown on Burrard so i'm down there once in a while.
P.S. It never takes ME an hour and a half to get downtown
Pick a night this week to meet up in white rock or Kits or Jericho perhaps?

I'm off work Friday. Heading to BBF to get a service done on the 2014 GT in the AM. Jericho Beach would work Friday eve if you can make it. I'm looking forward to heading out to Mission once the track reopens!! I wanna take the 5.0 out there and flog it. It's a NHRA track so they usually punt you if you run faster than a 13.50 in a convertible without a cage.

That is looking outstanding Eric! I still like your 5.0 on the front. Looks cool. I'm undecided about badging the CF grill. Also I see you added the lower half of the splitter up front. Looks good. After my suspension is done i'll think about adding that.
did you tint your marker lights?

so what y'all think about badging my front grill?
A -leave it clean, unbadged?
B -Bold GT lettering? in black or chrome?
C -traditional GT lettering? in chrome or black?
D -5.0 in black with red period?
E -the GT emblem same font as rocker panels, chrome or black

I'd leave it as is, or maybe the 05-10 GT badge. It's the same font as your side stripes right?

no it isn't the same. it's closer to the font in picture B. I wanted the 5-10 font but the decal guy messed up. I was ok with it at the time though. The font i have on the rocker panels is bold similar to the 5.0 font, which is why i'm leaning towards something bolder like that. But I am undecided from day to day. p.s. just added the badge i found on ebay that is closer to the rocker panel font.

some news to update here
The Ground Control suspension kit is on and it's awesome. My dealer installed it. There is a Mustang enthusiast in the shop with decades of experience on stangs. His own car, a red '67 won first place at the internationals this year.

The kit as posted earlier is custom built and preset for ride preference. Koni yellows with coilovers plus Eibach custom springs. All with height and compression/rebound adjustments. from the manufacturer though, it's perfect for me. Changes the ride of the car completely, instilling far more confidence and agility.
My new wheels arrived. BMC Alcoa/GT500 replica forged aluminum done in chrome. They are magnificent.

They will go on in the spring when i can afford new tires.
Planning on new brakes too. The big 6 pot 15" brembo pkg from AM seems like a good deal, complete with new lines too.
At this point in time, looking just a bit further down the road, I am beginning to like the edelbrock s/c kit. It's reverse induction method and lower profile with less heat seems like a potential fit for me. we'll see. pricing looks very competitive too.
