Wow, awesome looking vert! Lots of work going into that. I've contemplated a CF front splitter myself.

I am very happy with the cleaner front end. Fully functional with the internal splash guards etc. Ready and waiting possibly for …an intercooler one day? Maybe. Break ducting maybe too. I shouldn't get ahead of myself though LOL! New house first!

I think the larger spoiler really balances out the back end now, especially after adding the quad tip pipes and valance. It needed more meat back there.

^^ yeah it's looks pretty awesome!! I want to go similar, like a cross between a California special, boss, and Shelby. This is full shelby haha. Love the boss front grill and rear spoiler from the gt 500, just want to have the CS rear valance to keep the single tips from my 2011 gt500 axleback.

Your car looks awesome, always have loved the blue and white color scheme on the mustang. My first choice was DIB, but fell I love with ruby red

thanks guys. I did fall in love with the look of the '13 gt500 dib vert. it has been my primary benchmark appearance wise. This was my first mustang ever. I had never heard of a shelby or gt500 until last year, so after ordering my GT uninformed (assumed it was the only v8) i started to lay the plans for 'my' GT. I have ZERO regrets for not ordering a shelby as my first mustang and thoroughly enjoy making this my own muscle car. Of course the shelby doesn't come stock with a CF hood, splitters or grills.

Like i said, now for 'invisible' mods. slowly, over time,... after lots of research and bonus checks (hopefully).

There's a guy with a sterling grey 2013 V6 coupe with most of the GT500 cosmetics running around Vancouver. He even installed the 6 pot Brembo's. If he had put snake emblems on it I would have had to kill him. Lol

Darren are you in Vancouver or one of the suburbs? I chatted with you briefly last year when I was working at Brown Bros Ford.

Yes I remember you! I have been talking to Jared a bit lately (ssshhhh) over in SVT performance. I live out in Mission. Your shelby is beautiful. I think i was in there to test drive a black vertible?

I agree badging is not to be taken lightly. Mine will proudly display GT or go badgeless
I hit up most of the suburb show n shines. The maple ridge one is VERY busy lately. Nothing like the ones we had in Calgary at the casino though. Free beer and food really brings them out.

GF gets back tonight from 2 weeks away with family, so my car show attendance may drop a tad. only a little.

I live right in Vancouver. Not many car guys around here other than the rich fockers that use exotics as jewelry. My other peeve is when people put Vancouver as their location when they live an hour and a half away.
I get all excited that I may have a new car buddy to hang out with...only to be disappointed that they live out in the burbs....such a let down. Lol
Are you going to the show at Hallmark Ford on Aug 4th?

HAHAHA! dude i live a FUN hour and a half away when you own a shelby! wtf!
Yes i plan on heading to that one for sure.

My office is downtown on Burrard so i'm down there once in a while.

P.S. It never takes ME an hour and a half to get downtown

Pick a night this week to meet up in white rock or Kits or Jericho perhaps?
