On my way to the body shop to pick her up! All it'll need is the faux cap relaxed to finish it off.
Anyone know how to replace the foam that used to go around the outside edge of the cap between the body and the cap? Not sure if that's for water or just to prevent scratching

Thanks Burton! However now that it's painted, it's swirled like mad. I'm told this is normal for individual parts just out of the body shop??? It's not really swirls but like bigger markings that appear from a buffer/buffing.
He said it was baked and cured and I can wax. I'm still hesitant and def don't wanna take a my DA to it.

Please take it back and have them finish it properly. See the body shop manager about it asap.

yeah farmingdale, went upstate this w/e, just got back, was that this weekend?
